Job Duties
- Conduct field service at customer facilities, ensuring the proper functioning and maintenance of CNC tool & cutter grinding machines.
- Specifically working on Straustak machines with an understanding of Numroto software.
- Provide comprehensive support to customers onsite, by phone, and via email, addressing inquiries and troubleshooting issues promptly and effectively.
- Expect up to 50% travel within the USA, Canada, and Mexico to support customer needs.
Ideal Candidates
- Technical field service experience with CNC grinding machinery, encompassing mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic repairs.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting machine problems both on-site and remotely, including answering customer inquiries regarding maintenance, mechanical/electrical drawings, and part identification.
- Experience with the installation of CNC grinding machines at customer facilities.
- "Hands-on" individual with a strong mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to interpret and comprehend electrical, mechanical, and other technical drawings.
- Basic knowledge of electrical and fluid power circuits is preferred.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Do you have Straustak machine experience (could be an operator)
- Do you have Numroto software experience. Working/troubleshooting grinding machines
- Do you have technical field service experience with CNC grinding machinery, encompassing mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic repairs.
- Do you have proficiency in troubleshooting machine problems both on-site and remotely, including answering customer inquiries regarding maintenance, mechanical/electrical drawings, and part identification.
- Do you have experience with the installation of CNC grinding machines at customer facilities.
- Are you a "Hands-on" individual with a strong mechanical aptitude.
- Do you have the ability to interpret and comprehend electrical, mechanical, and other technical drawings.
- Do you have basic knowledge of electrical and fluid power circuits is preferred.
- Do you have experience traveling to customer sites and great customer service skills
