Job summary

Black Eagle Defense is seeking an Application Engineer IV to advance a Secure the Enterprise initiative. You will develop automated, modern web-based capabilities and dashboards, integrating front-end apps with REST endpoints, and delivering end-to-end lifecycle support.

The role emphasizes UI design, data visualization, and collaboration with stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable solutions within a modern framework.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. plus four years of experience, or a Master's degree plus six years, or a Bachelor's degree plus eight years, or an Associate's degree plus ten years.
• Twelve years of relevant experience acceptable if no degree.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, deploy, and sustain web-based capabilities utilizing Angular 14+.
• Integrate front-end applications with REST endpoints to request and receive data.
• Design and implement UI components to visualize data within web applications.
• Create and maintain SPA dashboards and user-facing capabilities.
• Develop responsive front-end solutions to support mission requirements; create mockups, wireframes, prototypes.
• Support modernization and enhancement of existing web-based applications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve defects, performance, and UI concerns.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into functional web-based solutions.
• Support full application lifecycle: development, testing, deployment, and sustainment.

SALARY RANGE

$190,000 - $247,000/year.

DUTIES

As a successful candidate for the Application Engineer IV role, you will support the Secure the Enterprise initiative by developing capabilities that transition the current manual system security evaluation and authorization process to a modern framework emphasizing automation, streamlined processes and approvals, continuous monitoring and assessment, and network data gathering throughout the entire project lifecycle.

Twelve (12) years of relevant experience are acceptable if the candidate does not possess a degree.
