Arconic is seeking an Application Engineer I for the Kawneer team in Springdale, AR. This role collaborates with customers, sales and internal teams to evaluate designs, ensure building code compliance, and develop solutions for complex applications.

The candidate will perform basic structural analyses, review plans, and contribute to the project lifecycle from design to delivery, while meeting deadlines in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering field.
• Strong mathematical skills for structural analysis.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural plans.

Responsibilities

• Provide design solutions with customers, sales, architects, and contractors.
• Coordinate blast application needs with outside vendors.
• Perform basic structural analyses using commercial software and in-house tools.
• Respond timely to customer needs and manage deadlines.
