Job summary

Amphenol Canada Corp. is seeking a Business Development Engineer for the Eastern US based in St. Augustine, FL.

You will generate connector design proposals, cost matrices, and support field sales. Travel is expected to expand regional business and identify new markets with cross-functional teams. Ideal candidates have 2–5 years of experience, proficiency in MS Office and SolidWorks or similar 3D tools, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience in relevant role.
• Proficient in MS Office and 3D design software (SolidWorks or equivalent).
• Knowledge of cost and selling price.
• Willing to travel internationally.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Mechanical engineering or Technologist background preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design proposals for customers.
• Review customer specifications.
• Generate cost matrix and present to management.
• Launch new programs or products.
• Collaborate with marketing, engineering, purchasing and programs team.
• Travel with the sales team to grow regional business.
• Identify and analyze potential new markets/customers for products.
