Pentair plc in Kansas City, KS is seeking an Application Engineer to analyze, organize, and configure centrifugal pump applications to meet complex customer requirements. You will design custom quotations, interpret rotating equipment specs, collaborate across sales, engineering, product management, supply, and end-users to ensure projects reach the bid phase, and support product training.

Travel up to 10% for site visits and meetings.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations, Business, or related field (AS degree with experience considered).
• Experience with electro-mechanical systems such as pumps, motors, valves, hydraulic systems, or rotating equipment.
• Ability to read technical schematics and plans, CAD drawings, and bills of materials to understand component level operations.

Responsabilidades

• Design and configure custom quotations to meet customer specifications and requirements.
• Review and interpret rotating equipment and pump requirements, engineering calculations, materials of construction, and system design.
• Collaborate with sales, engineering, product management, supply, and end-users to drive bids to the finish line.
• Assist in product training for internal personnel and field sales, and aid in customer presentations.
• Occasional travel up to 10% for site visits or meetings.
