Qualifications

• Review and interpret customer RFQs, specifications, part prints, and purchase orders.
• Lead the design and development of electrical control systems for custom engineered parts and weldments.
• Develop and optimize ABB robot programs using ABB RobotStudio and RAPID, integrating with PLCs.
• Purchase custom engineered items and coordinate build-to-order projects.

Responsibilities

• Set up, adjust, and operate manual and CNC machine tools to perform precision work.
• Panel Building: lay out, assemble, and wire control panels and sub-panels.
• Review customer RFQs, specs, prints, and pro… to ensure manufacturability.
• Lead automation projects in welding, web handling/converting, or general industrial automation.
• Lead the design and development of electrical control systems for custom parts.
• Use advanced troubleshooting to diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical systems.
• Customer & Applications Support as the primary technical point of contact.
• Develop and optimize ABB robot programs, integrating with automation controls.
• Design and develop control systems architecture including PLCs and HMIs.
• Independently develop structural CAD/drafting designs for products.
• Collaborate within a project team and comply with company policies.
• Serve as the go-to technical resource and mentor others.
