Job summary

OTC Industrial Technologies is seeking an Applications Engineer to design, price, and deliver temporary compressed air solutions for downtime events and outages. You will perform site assessments, load calculations, and prepare technical quotes aligned with scope, equipment selection, and schedules.

In this hands‑on role, you’ll support sales during proposals, translate requirements into reliable field deployments, and collaborate with operations teams to ensure safe, compliant, and efficient

Qualifications

• Associates degree or certificate in a technical discipline preferred.
• Compressed air system experience required.
• Experience translating engineered solutions into accurate, commercially sound quotes.
• Proficiency with CAD, engineering calculations, and asset/configuration tools.
• Ability to perform in fast‑paced, high‑pressure environments where safety and uptime are critical.

Responsibilities

• Conduct site assessments and load calculations to design power, cooling, and compressed air solutions.
• Develop engineered solutions that meet safety, operational, and environmental requirements.
• Prepare technical quotes aligned with scope, equipment selection, pricing, and schedules.
• Support sales during proposals and tenders by validating technical assumptions and feasibility.
• Configure solutions and manage asset availability using asset/configuration tools.
• Manage project scope from design through installation, commissioning, and handover.
