Job summary

Cullerton Group is seeking an Application Engineer to support advanced manufacturing and machining technologies in aerospace and precision manufacturing environments.

Travel up to 50% (typically 25%) and a compensation package up to $140K/year base plus bonus, with full benefits and relocation assistance. You will develop and optimize processes, collaborate with customers, and train both customers and internal teams.

Qualifications

• CAD experience with SolidWorks, Creo, NX, or Inventor.
• CAM experience with Mastercam, NX CAM, HyperMill, or PowerMill.
• Manufacturing/Process engineering knowledge.
• CNC machining and/or CNC programming experience.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Customer-facing or cross-functional engineering experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize manufacturing and machining processes.
• Support machine demonstrations, test cuts, and process validation activities.
• Collaborate with customers to troubleshoot machining and manufacturing challenges.
• Utilize CAD/CAM tools to support process development and manufacturing improvements.
• Conduct technical training for customers and internal teams.
• Support tooling, fixture, and manufacturing strategy development.
• Partner with engineering, sales, and manufacturing teams to deliver customer solutions.
