Position Overview:

As part of our rapid growth, Axonius Federal Systems (a wholly owned subsidiary of Axonius) is seeking an Application Engineer. In this role, you will be the primary contact for customers, ensuring their satisfaction and expanding their use of the Axonius platform. You will deploy and maintain the SaaS application in AWS within a FedRAMP environment, managing Linux servers, automating processes, and providing Tier 2/3 support. You will collaborate with internal teams to support CI/CD, scalability, and security compliance, ensuring customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deploy and manage cloud infrastructure and services on AWS for FedRAMP environments using Terraform.
• Maintain backup and disaster recovery solutions for FedRAMP environments.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to AWS infrastructure, services, and applications in FedRAMP environments.
• Collaborate with Solutions Architect and Infrastructure team to optimize AWS scalability.
• Implement security best practices and compliance standards in AWS environments.
• Create documentation, assist with audits, and train stakeholders on best practices.
• Stay updated with AWS services and features, and recommend their adoption.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

• U.S. Security Clearance eligibility.
• At least 5 years of experience as a Backend Engineer or Linux Administrator, with a minimum of 1 year implementing and monitoring SaaS appliances.
• Extensive experience with technologies such as Docker, MongoDB, and cloud environments.
• Proficiency with Linux environments and API knowledge (SQL, REST, SOAP).

Preferred Qualifications:

• DoD Networking experience.
• Over 1 year of experience with Python.
• Experience in the cybersecurity industry.
• Experience working with customers globally.
