Job summary

Nexperia is seeking an Application Engineer to strengthen the BGICS team. You will collaborate with account managers, RMMs, and PMEs to drive design activity across America, provide expert technical support, and build strong relationships with design engineers and partners.

You will contribute to marketing initiatives, develop training materials, and promote advanced support tools while promoting Nexperia’s product portfolio in a fast-paced, global semiconductor environment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in electrical and electronic engineering or related discipline.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in design engineering and application engineering.
  • Experience in Power Management & related technologies is a distinct advantage.
  • Excellent communication, influencing and relationship building skills.
  • Willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

  • Increase and accelerate BGICS design pipeline in America with Account Managers, Business Development, FAEs, distributors and Sales reps.
  • Be an expert on BGICS products & roadmaps.
  • Provide technical support and training.
  • Develop trusted relationships with design engineers, directly and through distributors.
  • Support Marketing initiatives and represent Nexperia/BGICS, seeking speaker opportunities to increase visibility.
  • Promote and utilize Nexperia’s advanced support tools, including models, evaluations systems, technical documentation.
  • Create engineering design assistance materials, including application schematics/demo boards/simulations.
  • Contribute technical content to drive awareness and interest within the design engineering communities of our customers & prospects.
  • Link with AE teams in other BGs & application teams to work cross BGs for promotion of Nexperia product portfolio.

The Integrated Circuit Solutions business group within Nexperia is seeking an Application Engineer to join our organization. POSITION OVERVIEW

In this role you will collaborate with colleagues and partners to enhance and expedite the Business Group IC s design pipelines across America. Additionally, you will provide expert technical support, develop strong relationships with design engineers, and contribute to marketing initiatives to increase Nexperia’s visibility in the market.

The AE will work across teams of Regional Marketing Managers (RMMs) and Product Marketing Engineers (PMEs) to maximize our presence at our customers by partnering with our account team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Work with existing colleagues (Account Managers, Business Development, FAEs), plus distributors and Sales reps as appropriate, to increase and accelerate Business Group IC s design pipeline in America.

  • Provide technical support and training

SKILLS/COMPETENCIES
Hard Skills:
  • Familiarity with electronic product design processes including component selection and qualification.
  • Solid technical background with deep understanding of analog ICs & power management ICs and the challenges customers may encounter when designing them into applications.
  • Experience in automotive, server, industrial and commercial applications.
  • Direct experience with Power Management ICs and/or Signal Chain
  • Basic analysis, visualization and interpretation of data skills
Soft Skills:
  • Team player, willing to learn & share information
  • Strong customer-facing communication and presentation skills.
  • Proven analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Highly self-motivated and result driven
  • Ability to work effectively in a global and cross-functional environment.
