Job summary

Aptiv is seeking an on-site Resident/Application Support Engineer to serve as the technical liaison for OEM customers, ensuring seamless integration, validation, and ongoing support for EV charging products at the customer site.

In this role you will drive customer success through proactive engineering support, issue resolution, and collaboration with OEM teams on diagnostics, validation, and program milestones. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or related Engineering field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3+ years of experience in automotive engineering, preferably in EV charging or electrical systems.
  • Strong understanding of EVSE (Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment) and related standards.
  • Hands-on experience with diagnostics, validation, and troubleshooting of electrical components.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for direct customer interaction.
  • Ability to work independently on-site and manage multiple priorities.
  • Familiarity with OEM program development processes and APQP is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel.

YOUR ROLE

The Resident/Application Support Engineer will serve as the primary technical liaison between our company and the OEM customer.
