Responsibilities

• Work with engineering, R&D, and sales to address process and performance issues.
• Develop engineering data and calculations to support new quotations.
• Write detailed sales proposals for new quotations and retrofits.
• Generate order entry spreadsheets, Bills of Material, and supporting documentation.
• Perform occasional sales back-up functions as required in the absence of Sales Engineers.
• Minimal travel may be required to a customer’s facility to support the sales effort.

Under the direction of the Sales & Applications Engineer Manager support sales in the generation of proposals by performing the following duties.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

This list of duties and responsibilities is not all inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities, as management may deem necessary from time to time.

• Using customer specifications generate design layouts for new web processing lines.
• Prepare cost estimates using costed bills of material, from the company wide product data base system ("Visibility") and spreadsheet, of similar equipment.
• Investigate and solicit competitive quotations on vendor-supplied equipment and integrate into the proposed equipment.
• Work with engineering, R&D, and sales to address process and performance issues.
• Develop engineering data and calculations to support new quotations.
• Write detailed sales proposals for new quotations and retrofits.
• Generate order entry spreadsheets, Bills of Material, and supporting documentation.
• Perform occasional sales back-up functions as may be required in the absence of the Sales Engineers.
