Job summary

Munters Corporation in Daleville, VA is seeking an HVAC Application Engineer to provide engineered solutions and technical support for the application, design, selection, and pricing of HVAC equipment for Data Center projects. You will review specifications and drawings, develop equipment concepts, prepare cost estimates, and coordinate with engineering, production and sales to meet customer requirements.

Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering is preferred; chillers experience, CAD and MS Office

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline required.
• Experience with chillers strongly preferred.
• Proficient in CAD and MS Office; solid communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for data center HVAC projects from inquiry to shipment.
• Develop engineered solutions and equipment selections based on specifications and drawings.
• Prepare cost estimates and coordinate with engineers, architects and production.
• Define equipment lead times with the operations team to meet customer needs.
• Turnover documentation to engineering and production for manufacturing.
• Support customers with knowledge transfer and trainings; travel as needed.
