The Application Engineer interacts with inside and outside customers and coordinates with Outside Sales Engineers and Project Engineers.This role is responsible for accurate equipment selection and estimation.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Estimate equipment projects, coordinating with Outside Sales Engineers
- Selecting mechanical equipment based on our line card of products
- Scoping equipment and reviewing with Outside Sales Engineers
- Complete equipment submittals for approval
- Receive incoming phone calls and emails from customers and quote equipment to customers
- Be responsible and responsive to internal and external customers

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Education and/or Experience- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering is required.
- Experience- None required, co-op or internship in engineering is preferred
- Computer Skills- To perform this job successfully, an individual should be proficient in personal computer skills including email, record keeping, routine database activity.Microsoft Office Word & Excel required.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
The noise level in the work environment is usually low to moderate with an open office and a social/learning environment and weekly onsite training. The individual frequently works in a controlled climate. The individual may occasionally visit customer job sites.
