Mercyhealth is seeking a Training Specialist to deliver comprehensive application training for medical software across Illinois and Wisconsin. You will design instructional materials, lead classroom and remote sessions, and continuously improve training workflows.
The role requires a minimum of 2 years of experience in training and supporting medical software, with preferred Epic certification. Candidates should be able to work independently and coordinate multiple training projects.
Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent work experience in a discipline developing analytical and conceptual thinking skills. Minimum 2 years previous experience training, designing and supporting medical software applications required.
Experience in adult education and detailed understanding of workflows and system configuration required.
Prior certification in Epic application preferred.
Required to achieve assigned Computer Application certifications within 90 days of training and to maintain assigned certification while in this role.
Experience with and demonstrates competence in Microsoft Office Applications. Ability to work independently and be result oriented.
Requires excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to coordinate and prioritize tasks and project components. Ability to lead.
Minimal supervision required
This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
