Mercyhealth is seeking a dedicated Training Specialist to master Epic applications and related workflows, design and deliver training, and support end users across the system. You will build training materials, facilitate sessions in person or remotely, and coordinate scheduling and LMS records.
Strong communication and collaborative Skills are essential as you work with providers and leaders to resolve software issues.
Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent work experience in a discipline developing analytical and conceptual thinking skills. Minimum 2 years previous experience training, designing and supporting medical software applications required.
Experience in adult education and detailed understanding of workflows and system configuration required.
Prior certification in Epic application preferred.
Required to achieve assigned Computer Application certifications within 90 days of training and to maintain assigned certification while in this role.
Experience with and demonstrates competence in Microsoft Office Applications. Ability to work independently and be result oriented.
Requires excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to coordinate and prioritize tasks and project components. Ability to lead.
Minimal supervision required
This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
