Application Development Specialist - Biopharma

We are seeking a driven, hands-on technical business development professional to promote and grow Univar Solutions' presence in the Biopharma industry across North America, specifically within the oligonucleotide & DNA synthesis space.

What You Will Do

• Develop and close new opportunities within the Biopharma industry, working with R&D, manufacturing, and business development teams.
• Provide product recommendations, technical, and formulation support to customers.
• Enhance Univar Solutions' position within accounts through consultative selling.
• Communicate updates using CRM tools like Salesforce.
• Generate industry reports and assist in implementing corrective actions.
• Stay updated on industry trends and develop new business opportunities.
• Collaborate with sales and product management teams to support and establish new business.
• Support customers during scale-up and technical transfer of projects.
• Provide technical training internally and externally.
• Contribute to achieving financial targets.
• Understand regulatory requirements in the industry.
• Participate in industry events and contribute to marketing efforts.
• Publish thought leadership content and deliver technical presentations.
• Commit to safety standards.

What You Will Need

• 5+ years of technical experience in the Biopharma industry.
• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biotech, or Life Sciences.
