Job summary

Aquatech is seeking an Applications Development Engineer for our Hartland, WI campus. You will supervise pilot lab operations, analyze data, and maintain equipment to meet performance targets in a safety-focused environment.

The role demands hands-on technical skills, excellent communication, and the ability to train operators while working full-time in person at our Hartland facility.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Chemical Engineering required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Able to work overtime during testing.
• Willingness to work in Hartland, WI.

Responsibilities

• Monitor pilot results to ensure process alignment with key operational targets.
• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the pilot laboratory testing.
• Maintain ownership of all data generated from the pilot test.
• Analyze data to form conclusions and author pilot reports.
• Engineer, design, assemble and maintain pilot plant equipment.
• Communicate with pilot operations to make decisions in the best interest of safety, pilot quality, and schedule.
• Ensure operational readiness and efficient use of resources.
• Lead continuous improvement efforts to advance technical capabilities.
• Conduct training for operators.
• Establish and enforce a culture of safety, organization, and accountability.
