Job summary

Aquatech International LLC, Hartland, WI, seeks an entry-level Applications Engineer to join our Hartland office. Hours are Monday–Friday, 8:00 am–5:00 pm, with duties including defining client process needs and developing evaporation/crystallization designs.

The role involves preparing proposals, cost estimates, and contributing to pilot testing and business development efforts. A B.S. in Chemical Engineering or related field with a GPA of 3.0+ is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or related field with GPA 3.0+ or higher.
• Entry-level; willing to work full-time in Hartland, WI.

Responsibilities

• Engage with clients to understand and define their key process performance needs.
• Develop process designs incorporating evaporation and crystallization technology.
• Author technical proposals that clearly communicate value propositions and accurately define process performance.
• Prepare cost estimates for the proposed equipment scope.
• Participate in client meetings with the sales team as a technical expert.
• Create and deliver technical content to support business development initiatives.
• Participate in pilot testing programs for process validation.
• Complete engineering activities including heat & material balances, process flow diagrams, piping & instrumentation diagrams, equipment sizing calculations, dimensional designs for pressure vessels and heat exchangers, and plant equipment layout.
• Collaborate with engineering teams during project execution, procurement, and start-up.
• Other duties as assigned.
