Job summary

Extreme Engineering Solutions, located in Verona, WI, offers a full‑time in‑person Co‑Op for Spring/Summer 2027 (Jan–Aug 2027) or Summer/Fall 2027 (May–Dec 2027). Students may take a semester off to accommodate the program.

As a student developer, you will gain hands‑on experience across PHP, Symfony, Python, Django, JavaScript and MySQL, within a small team, tackling bugs and helping improve workflows and environments.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Familiarity with object‑oriented design principles and common design patterns; some experience with Python, PHP or another dynamic language.
• Basic understanding of software development tools and practices (Git, GitLab, package management, automated testing, code review).
• Comfortable working in a primarily Linux‑based environment.

Job description

Contribute to the ongoing development of web applications and command line tools that have a direct impact on the company's engineering, manufacturing and business processes. Working within a small team, student developers gain hands‑on experience implementing new projects and features, troubleshooting bugs, and continuously improving our development workflows and environments. Typical work includes the opportunity to utilize a range of programming languages and tools including PHP, Symfony, Python, Django, JavaScript and MySQL.

This position is full‑time and in‑person at our Verona, WI facility for a Spring/Summer 2027 Co‑Op (January‑August 2027) or a Summer/Fall 2027 Co‑Op (May‑December2027). This typically requires students to take a semester off school to accommodate.

Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
