Job summary

Extreme Engineering Solutions is seeking a student for a full-time, on-site Spring/Summer 2027 or Summer/Fall 2027 Co‑Op in Verona, WI. The role requires taking a semester off to accommodate the program and offers a competitive benefits package.

The selected candidate will work in a Linux-based environment, with exposure to Python or PHP and modern development tools such as Git and GitLab. This is a hands-on, team-focused opportunity in a state-of-the-art facility.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Knowledge of object-oriented design principles and common design patterns with some experience with Python, PHP or another dynamic language.
• A basic understanding of common software development tools and practices such as Git and GitLab, package management, automated testing and code review.
• Comfortable working in a primarily Linux-based environment.

Description

This position is full-time and in-person at our Verona, WI facility for a Spring/Summer 2027 Co-Op (January-August 2027) or a Summer/Fall 2027 Co-Op (May-December2027). This typically requires students to take a semester off school to accommodate.

Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Knowledge of object-oriented design principles and common design patterns with some experience with Python, PHP or another dynamic language.
• A basic understanding of common software development tools and practices such as Git and GitLab, package management, automated testing and code review.
• Comfortable working in a primarily Linux-based environment.
