Extreme Engineering Solutions (X-ES) is seeking Embedded Hardware Engineering Co-Ops to assist with hardware design and production support at our Verona, WI facility for Spring/Summer 2027 and Summer/Fall 2027 terms. Students will rotate to one engineering team based on needs and interests and may focus on board-level design, HDL development, or FPGA projects.

Extreme Engineering Solutions (X-ES) is seeking Embedded Hardware Engineering Co-Op’s to assist with various aspects of hardware design and production support. Gain hands-on experience working with advanced technologies from Intel, AMD, and other embedded suppliers. Depending on your assigned team, responsibilities may include one or more of the following: board-level design, HDL development, signal integrity simulations and design for high-speed signals, schematic capture, power supply design and testing, troubleshooting, debug, engineering bring-up, and/or manufacturing support.
All Co-Oppositionsarefull-time and in-person at our Verona, WI facility for the Spring/Summer 2027 Co-Op term (January–August 2027) or a Summer/Fall 2027 Co-Op term (May – December 2027). This opportunity typically requires students to take a semester away from school to accommodate the full-time schedule.
