Akina Inc. seeks a highly skilled Software Engineer and CNO Reverse Engineer at Fort Meade, MD.

This role requires TS/SCI and polygraph, with responsibilities to design, develop, prototype, modify, and integrate mission-centric software solutions. You will collaborate with analysts, operators, and data scientists to augment toolsets, analyze requirements, and build end-to-end solutions that operate under mission constraints.

Qualifications

• Shall have a minimum of a Bachelor of Computer Science or Computer Engineering and a minimum of twelve (12) years of software/system development work experience or a Masters of Computer Science or Computer Engineering with a minimum of ten (10) years of experience.
• Four (4) years of additional SWE experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.

Description

You will act as a general-purpose Software Engineer and CNO Reverse Engineer for up-and-coming projects where you will design, develop, prototype, modify, and integrate solutions to provide mission-centric results. You will work closely with analysts, operators, data scientists and other software engineers to provide mission tactical support.

Position Required Skills

• Produce and modify software systems in C/C++/Python/Assembly.


• In-depth understanding of network protocols (e.g., TCP/IP), and analysis of network traffic (e.g., Wireshark).


• Provide support for fielded software systems.


• Familiarity with Git and Subversion.


• Atlassian Tools (Jira, Confluence).

Nice to Haves

• Experience with reverse engineering windows or embedded platforms (RTOS).


• Experience with developing CNO specific software in Windows/Linux/Embedded applications.


• Experience with Vulnerability Research and Exploit development.


• Knowledge of end-to-end SIGINT collection and analysis systems.

AD3 Qualifications

Salary Range

$245k-$299k (Annually)

The range displayed above is a likely salary range for this position. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possible contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
