Job summary

Creative Information Technology, Inc. (CITI) seeks an experienced Application Developer for a remote role supporting the State of Maryland.

You will translate requirements into complex web solutions and apply modern technologies across the development lifecycle. Candidates should have 7+ years of web development, 5+ years deploying web applications, and hands-on experience with Spring Boot, .NET, Angular/React/Next.js, RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in CS/IS/Engineering or related field, or 3 years of related experience.
• 7+ years of web development experience with modern web tools.
• 5+ years designing, developing and deploying Web sites and/or Web applications.

Responsibilities

• Translate requirements into the design of complex websites and applications.
• Apply modern technologies across the site development process including Spring Boot, .NET 8/9, Angular, React, Next.js, TypeScript, HTML5/CSS3, Java, C#, RESTful APIs, GraphQL, Microservices, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS/Azure, GitHub, and AI/LLM integrations.
• Track revision control with Rational ClearCase or other approved tools.
• Design, document, develop, implement, and support JDeveloper applications using Oracle 12c RDMS and/or MSSQL.
• Ensure website enhancements meet WCAG 2.1 Level A/AA accessibility standards.
• Bachelor's Degree or 3 years of equivalent experience in related field.

Role and Responsibilities

Our Client State of Maryland is looking for seasoned Application Developer; This is a Remote Role.

• Translate applications requirements into the design of complex web sites, including integrating web pages and applications.
• Apply new and emerging technologies to the site development process including but not limited to: Spring Boot 3+, .NET 8/9, modern web frameworks (Angular, React, Next.js), TypeScript, HTML5/CSS3, Java, C#, RESTful APIs, GraphQL, Microservices Architecture, Containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), Cloud-Native platforms (AWS, Azure), GitHub, and AI/LLM service integrations.
• Track revision control through such software packages as Rational ClearCase or other approved software packages.
• Design, document, develop, implement, and support JDeveloper applications using an Oracle 12c RDMS and/or MSSQL .
• Ensure the website enhancements are developed to meet accessibility standards WCAG 2.1 (at least Level A and AA)
• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university with a major in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or other related scientific or technical discipline -OR-
• Three (3) years of equivalent experience in a related field.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Must have seven (7) years of web development experience using current Web development and graphic tools, as well as Web Server and database administration.
• At least five (5) years of experience designing, developing and deploying Web sites and/or Web applications, including product selection, configuration, installation, maintenance, and site specific Web development languages and relational databases.
