Job summary

Reinventing Geospatial, Inc. (RGi) seeks an Application Developer to drive agile software development for mission-critical geospatial systems. You will design, develop, test, and document software addressing complex intelligence challenges, using Java, Maven, and modern stacks.

Candidate must hold an active TS clearance, be US citizenship, and adapt to a fast-paced defense environment with opportunities for growth and leadership within a growing team.

Qualifications

• Java development experience with Maven and Jar/Package dependencies.
• Ability to troubleshoot and navigate multiple OS environments (Linux/Windows).
• Strong troubleshooting skills.
• Proven experience in COTS/FOSS integration and support.
• Ability to learn and implement new technologies.
• Current TS clearance (with background investigation); crossover to NGA customer required.

Responsibilities

• Planning, conducting, and coordinating agile software development activities.
• Designing, developing, documenting, testing, and debugging software for mission-critical issues.
• Applying standards, processes, procedures, and tools throughout the development life cycle.
• Applying knowledge of hardware/software and domain-specific information to develop software.
• Correcting program errors, documenting development, and analyzing system capabilities.
• Ensuring software standards are defined and met.
