Job summary

Weltman, Weinberg & Reis seeks an Application Developer to design, develop, test, implement, maintain, and support business applications and technology solutions. The role collaborates with analysts, end users, vendors, and IT colleagues to deliver reliable, secure, and scalable systems.

You will participate in the full software development lifecycle from requirements to deployment and ongoing support. A Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field is required, and benefits include

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, software engineering, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, implement, and maintain software applications, integrations, database objects, and automation solutions.
• Translate business and technical requirements into application functionality.
• Develop application components following established standards and best practices.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, including specifications, procedures, and support documentation.
• Participate in code reviews and incorporate feedback as appropriate.
• Assist in identifying and resolving software defects.
• Develop and maintain database objects including views, stored procedures, functions, scripts, and queries.
• Support data analysis, reporting, and integration activities.
• Ensure data integrity and accuracy within assigned applications.
• Assist in performance tuning and optimization efforts.
• Perform unit testing and support system, integration, and user acceptance testing activities.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, software engineering, or related field
