Job summary

Weltman, Weinberg & Reis Co., LPA is seeking an Application Developer to design, develop, test, implement, maintain, and support business applications and technology solutions. The role works closely with business analysts, end users, vendors, and IT team members to deliver reliable, secure, and scalable software that supports organizational objectives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, software engineering, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, test, implement, and maintain software applications, integrations, database objects, and automation solutions.
  • Translate business and technical requirements into application functionality.
  • Develop application components following established standards and best practices.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, including specifications, procedures, and support documentation.
  • Participate in code reviews and incorporate feedback as appropriate.
  • Assist in identifying and resolving software defects.
  • Develop and maintain database objects including views, stored procedures, functions, scripts, and queries.
  • Support data analysis, reporting, and integration activities.
  • Ensure data integrity and accuracy within assigned applications.
  • Assist in performance tuning and optimization efforts.
  • Perform unit testing and support system, integration, and user acceptance testing activities.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, software engineering, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.

The Application Developer designs, develops, tests, implements, maintains, and supports business applications and technology solutions. The position works closely with business analysts, end users, vendors, and other IT team members to deliver reliable, secure, and scalable solutions that support organizational objectives. The Application Developer participates in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, development, testing, deployment, and ongoing application support. The role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills and a commitment to delivering high-quality technology solutions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Develop, test, implement, and maintain software applications, integrations, database objects, and automation solutions.

Compensation and Benefits:
  • The expected compensation is $67,770 - $84,713
  • Paid Time Off (PTO) - 16 days annually +9 Company paid holidays
