Job summary

Dover Networks LLC is seeking a general-purpose software engineer embedded in operations for upcoming projects. You will own the full product lifecycle from design and prototype through development, release, deployment, and maintenance of all tools developed by the team.

You will modify other teams' tools and integrate products into our toolkit for mission-centric results, working with analysts, operators, and other engineers to define new requirements and provide both tactical and longer-term

Qualifications

• Produce and modify software systems in C/C++/Python, with explicit experience in network programming.
• Provide support for fielded software systems.
• Coordinate and communicate with users of differing technical knowledge including operators, analysts, and other developers to deliver finished products to the customer.
• Reverse engineering experience.
• Familiarity with Git and Subversion.
• Atlassian Tools (Confluence/Jira/Bamboo).

Salary Range: $200k-$219k per year with an additional $50k-$55k in immediately vested company 401(k) contributions

Description:

You will act as a general-purpose software engineer embedded in operations for up-and-coming projects. You will be responsible for the full product lifecycle including: design, prototype, development, release, deployment, and maintenance of all tools developed by the team. In addition to the above you will also be responsible modifying other teams tools and integrating products developed by other teams into our toolkit for mission-centric results. You will work closely with analysts, operators, and other software engineers to define new requirements and provide tactical support to operations. This includes quick reaction operational support and the support in addition to the longer development lifecycle of more feature rich capabilities.
