Database Management Specialist-Level III

LOCATION : Remote

LinTech Global is seeking a Database Management Specialist to support the IRSCI client with Business Solutions Development (BSD). BSD involves experienced solution architects, data managers, ETL programmers, data scientists, and analytics resources to modernize CI data management and analytic solutions. The role focuses on developing data management strategies to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security, along with creating and maintaining databases, data dictionaries, and data models.

RESPONSIBILITIES and SKILLS :

• Analyze, recommend, and support the implementation of data warehouse operations, including modernization efforts.
• Develop architectural diagrams, conduct data and performance analyses, and prepare technical documentation on CI Data Warehouse operations.
• Support prototypes, proofs-of-concept, and pilots to evaluate technologies for Data Warehouse Modernization.
• Provide engineering support for Data Warehouse systems, networks, cloud, virtualization, security, and related IT components.
• Modernize workflows for data collection, maintenance, and provision to support the CI Mission.
• Design robust database schemas and optimize data organization within SQL Server.
• Utilize SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) for complex ETL operations.
• Implement advanced query optimization techniques to enhance data retrieval performance.
• Manage SQL Server environments to ensure high availability and scalability.
• Prepare data for anomaly detection and machine learning, leveraging SQL Server analytics capabilities.
• Leverage data warehouses, marts, and models for analysis and reporting.
• Perform data analysis to support CI information systems and services.
• Experience with data technologies like Oracle, SQL Data Warehouse, SQL Server, and a willingness to learn new technologies.
• Develop reports, dashboards, scorecards, and visual analytics using current and emerging tools.
• Provide insights and recommendations on new technologies to the CI team.
• Contribute to a team-oriented environment with creative and analytical problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in a CI environment is a plus.
