Job summary

Hitachi Energy is seeking an Application Developer to design, develop, test, and enhance business-critical applications across global teams. You will convert requirements into scalable solutions and support the full software lifecycle, from design to deployment, with a focus on security and performance.

You will collaborate with architects and stakeholders, follow industry best practices, and contribute to digital transformation initiatives that impact how teams operate across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
• 3+ years of experience in software development and application delivery
• Experience with one or more programming languages such as C#, VB.NET, C++, SQL, JavaScript, HTML, or Python
• Knowledge of modern development platforms and tools such as Microsoft Azure, Azure DevOps, Visual Studio, Power Apps, GitHub, or MuleSoft
• Understanding of software development lifecycle methodologies and project delivery frameworks such as Agile or PMP
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills in a global environment
