Role Overview
Hexion is seeking an Application Deployment and Delivery Leader to deploy target-state enterprise application architecture and lead reliable deployment of strategic agentic applications on our Azure agentic tech stack. This role assures and leads deployment readiness, release governance; coordinates cloud, network, identity, security, integration, data, DevOps, and operational requirements; and advises internal teams and implementation partners to expedite and deliver our agentic workloads. This role works closely with the AI teams and IO’s (Initiative owners) driving agentic projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Guide prototypes and vendor-built solutions into Hexion-managed production patterns, including solutions built with Azure AI Foundry, Copilot Studio, Power Platform, container platforms, and enterprise SaaS products.
- Release agentic applications aligned to target-state enterprise application architecture, reference patterns, technology standards, and design principles across cloud, SaaS, packaged, and custom solutions.
- Own the cross-portfolio deployment RAID log, prioritize business-critical blockers, and direct internal and partner resources toward timely resolution.
- Own our Azure cloud Architecture Framework and subscriptions/automation and CI/CD strategy for hosting agentic, vibe coded and other applications
- Support our enterprise architecture review process for new applications, material changes, integrations, and deployment designs.
- Create reusable application blueprints and guardrails that internal teams and partners can adopt consistently across development, QA, production, and disaster-recovery environments.
- Maintain clear architecture decisions, standards exceptions, ownership models, and nonfunctional requirements for performance, availability, security, compliance, and supportability.
- Ensure deployment prerequisites are planned and delivered, including VNets and subnets, private endpoints, API Management, container registries and runtimes, secrets, app registrations, SSO, databases, storage, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Establish reusable release plans, cutover checklists, rollback procedures, runbooks, monitoring, service-transition, and production-acceptance criteria.
- Provide technical oversight across application hosting, APIs and integration, data access, identity, networking, cybersecurity, observability, resilience, scalability, and cost. Working closely with the AI teams
- Act as an architectural advisor to application owners, engineering teams, infrastructure and security teams, and implementation and hypercare partners proactively.
Required Technologies
- Integration & automation: Azure Logic Apps, APIs, event-driven integration, batch and file integration, and workflow automation.
- Identity, network & security: Microsoft Entra ID, SSO, app registrations, RBAC, managed identities, VNets and subnets, private endpoints, TLS, Key Vault, and secrets management.
- DevOps & deployment: Azure DevOps, GitHub, CI/CD, infrastructure as code with Terraform, environment promotion, and release automation.
- Data & analytics: Azure Databricks, Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS Gen2), Azure SQL, Power BI, and secure application access to enterprise data.
- Operations & reliability: monitoring, logging, observability, performance management, backup and recovery, disaster recovery, and production-support practices.
- Enterprise applications & platforms: SAP ECC and S/4HANA, SAP BW and Datasphere, Microsoft 365, Power Platform, Copilot Studio, and enterprise SaaS solutions.
