Application Consultant – Site Reliability

CTG is seeking to fill an Application Consultant – Site Reliability position for our client in Phoenix, AZ.

Location: Phoenix, AZ

Duration: 7 months

Duties:

1. Ensure the reliability, availability, and performance of critical enterprise applications and services.
2. Design, develop, and maintain automation tools and infrastructure to support application deployment and monitoring.
3. Collaborate with development and operations teams to identify and resolve issues in the application lifecycle.
4. Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and other tools to streamline software delivery.
5. Utilize containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, GKE) to manage application deployments.
6. Implement best practices for incident management, root cause analysis, and preventative maintenance.
7. Contribute to improving scalability, resilience, and security of cloud-based environments (GCP).

Skills:

• Proficient in Git-based version control systems (GitHub, GitLab, BitBucket, SVN).
• Strong programming skills in Node.js and Java.
• Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins.
• Skilled in containerization using Docker and orchestration using GKE.
• Deep understanding of cloud platforms, particularly Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Excellent troubleshooting and performance tuning capabilities.

Experience:

• 6–9 years of hands-on experience in site reliability engineering, DevOps, or related roles.
• Proven track record in building and maintaining production-grade systems and services.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred.

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills are required to interact professionally with a diverse group.
