Job summary

Cognizant is seeking an Application Architect (.NET) in the United States to design scalable, business-critical web applications and integration solutions. You will collaborate with stakeholders, developers, and architects to create robust architectures that support business objectives and optimize downstream data usage.

You will design architectures, lead API/integration efforts, and build with ASP.NET, .NET, C#, JS, and SQL, translating business needs into technical solutions and guiding teams

Qualifications

• Strong experience designing and implementing enterprise application architectures.
• Hands-on expertise with ASP.NET and ASP.NET Web API development.
• Proficiency in .NET, C#, VB.NET, Classic VB, JavaScript, and SQL.
• Experience with HTML5, CSS3, AJAX, RESTful APIs, jQuery, and Bootstrap.
• Strong understanding of application integration patterns, inbound/outbound interfaces, and API-driven architectures.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions and understand end-to-end business processes.
• Excellent communication and customer interaction skills.

About the role

As an Application Architect (.NET), you will make an impact by designing and delivering scalable, business-critical web applications and integration solutions. You will be a valued member of the technology team, collaborating with business stakeholders, developers, and architects to create robust application architectures that support business objectives and optimize downstream data usage.

In this role, you will:

What you need to have to be considered

• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to influence technical decisions across teams.

Salary and Other Compensation

The annual salary for this position is between $63,000 to $99,500 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
