Job summary

TriTech Enterprise Systems is seeking an Application Architect to support a State client in LA. The role requires defining and maintaining the cloud application and data architecture for an enterprise Azure environment, and providing technical direction to development teams and partners.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years of architecture experience with Azure across compute, integration, and data services such as Data Factory, Databricks, Service Bus, Functions, Logic Apps, and API Management.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of enterprise cloud architecture experience.
• Experience delivering on Azure across compute, integration, and data services.
• Cloud architecture certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain the cloud application and data architecture for an enterprise Azure environment.
• Set standards for solution design, identity and access management, cost management, and disaster recovery.
• Review vendor-proposed designs against those standards.
• Produce reference architecture documentation.
• Provide technical direction to development teams and implementation partners.

NOTE: This key position is for a proposal effort that should be awarded by the end of November 2026. The candidate must live within 30 minutes of the City of New Orleans. All resumes are due to TriTech by noon on 11/13/2026.Note 2: This work can be performed off-site; however, the candidate needs to be in LATriTech Enterprise Systems (TriTech) is seeking an \"Application Architect\" to support a State client in LA.

This candidate will:

• Define and maintain the cloud application and data architecture for an enterprise Azure environment.
• Set standards for solution design, integration patterns, identity and access management, cost management, and disaster recovery
• Review vendor-proposed designs against those standards
• Produce reference architecture documentation, and
• Provide technical direction to development teams and implementation partners.

Requires 8+ years of architecture experience, including demonstrated delivery on Azure across compute, integration, and data services (Data Factory, Databricks, Service Bus, Functions, Logic Apps, API Management), and experience architecting shared platforms serving multiple business units.
