We are seeking a highly skilled and dynamic Application Architect to join our healthcare team. This role is crucial in building and implementing complex digital solutions that will revolutionize healthcare delivery. The successful candidate will have a strong background in cloud, data engineering, Azure Data Factory, Azure AKS, and application architecture.

This role requires 3 days a week onsite in Northern suburbs of Chicago.

Job Details

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement high-quality application architecture solutions to meet business needs in the healthcare industry.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, software engineers, and data scientists to understand project requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Utilize Azure Data Factory and Azure AKS to build, deploy, and manage applications.
• Ensure the scalability, security, and performance of applications through cloud and data engineering strategies.
• Lead the design and development of data models and database architecture.
• Maintain and update application architecture documentation and standards.
• Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends to incorporate them into the company's operations and procedures.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to application architecture and provide technical guidance to the team.
• Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle and ensure the successful delivery of projects.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. A Master's degree will be an added advantage.
• Minimum of 5+ years of experience in application architecture, with a focus on cloud and data engineering.
• Proven experience with Azure Data Factory and Azure AKS.
• Extensive knowledge of application architecture principles, practices, and techniques.
• Strong understanding of data modeling and database design.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think strategically and analytically.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to guide and mentor a team.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience in the healthcare industry is a plus.
