Job Description:

Baptist Health is seeking an Application Analyst - Intermediate to join our team. This is a remote position requiring residency in KY or IN.

Under general supervision, responsible for applying and integrating information technology within a healthcare setting. Acts as a liaison between the IT department and operational teams to align system design with operational processes. Responsibilities include data collection, workflow analysis, system configuration, testing, and support. Participates in application deployment and documentation of procedures. Ensures software builds meet organizational goals and comply with external mandates such as HIPAA and Meaningful Use. Possesses technical knowledge across most phases of application system analysis and project management. May serve as project coordinator for medium-sized projects with moderate budgets and potential system-wide implications.

Essential Duties:

• Analyze stakeholder expectations and requirements to manage expectations effectively.
• Identify project issues and risks, resolving or escalating as appropriate.
• Collaborate with colleagues to complete tasks efficiently.
• Lead or actively participate in meetings.
• Manage multiple projects concurrently.
• Maintain knowledge of product features, functionality, and utilization of the application software.
• Monitor system performance and effectiveness, report critical issues, and resolve moderate problems.
• Participate in disaster recovery initiatives.
• Review and test changes, interfaces, data conversions, enhancements, and new releases.
• Provide on-site support during go-lives and system upgrades.
• Offer 24/7 support as scheduled.
• Resolve or triage support calls.
• Develop and maintain test scripts reflecting workflow solutions.
• Support training teams by updating them on new functionalities and system changes.
• Maintain documentation on the organization’s file-sharing platform.

Minimum Education, Experience, Training, and Licenses:

• Bachelor’s degree with two years of experience, or
• Minimum four years of direct experience in lieu of a degree.
