Application Analyst – EPIC Patient Access Team

Join us at Children's Wisconsin as an Application Analyst – EPIC Patient Access Team.

Children's Wisconsin is a nationally recognized health system dedicated solely to children’s health and well-being, offering primary care, specialty care, urgent care, emergency services, community health, foster and adoption services, counseling, advocacy, and family resources. Location: Remote

Work Schedule: Full-time, Monday-Friday with call hours, approximately every 8 weeks, including one week from Tuesday to Tuesday. All-day operations.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage front-end patient work such as registration, scheduling, and check-in processes.
  • Support core EPIC modules: Cadence, Grand Central, and Prelude.
  • Provide application, workflow, and process expertise through training and guidance.
  • Support, analyze, configure, develop, test, and implement applications across multiple user groups and technologies.
  • Serve as an application expert and primary contact for at least one application or module.
  • Perform complex, cross-functional work, adhering to change control, testing, and documentation standards.
Qualifications:
  • Epic certification in Grand Central, Prelude, or Cadence preferred; cross-training in other skills is a plus. Certification maintenance required.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years relevant experience.
  • Knowledge of industry practices and standards.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Competencies: conflict management, business insight, resilience, resourcefulness.
