Job summary

Future Pipe Industries is seeking a role focused on designing, developing, and supporting technical solutions on the Infor Cloud Suite Multi-Tenant platform, including LN extensions, reports, and ION integrations.

You will collaborate with the Business Systems Department and end users to translate requirements into upgrade-safe functionality, align with Infor's extensibility standards, and support multi-logistic operations.

Responsibilities

• Design and build LN extensions using multi-Tenant extensibility tools (tables, fields, sessions, extension scripts, BO extensions).
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications to improve end-user productivity.
• Ensure developments stay upgrade-safe and compliant with Infor’s Multi-Tenant guidelines.
• Design and build LN reports with LN Report Designer and create external document layouts.
• Design, configure, and maintain Infor ION integrations, including BODs and mappings.
• Design and implement ION Workflows, including definitions, assignments, escalations, and notifications.

Role & responsibilities

JOB PURPOSE: The jobholder designs, develops, and supports technical solutions on the Infor Cloud Suite Multi-Tenant platform, covering Infor LN extensions, reports, document output, ION integrations, and workflows. They work with the Business Systems Department and end users to turn business requirements into upgrade-safe solutions that follow Infor's extensibility standards, stay stable through Infor's continuous updates, and support the company's multi-logistic company operations.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Key Responsibilities:

1. LN Extensibility & Solution Development

• Design and build LN extensions using the multi-Tenant extensibility tools. These include table and field extensions, session extensions (UI changes, field validations, defaults, actions), extension scripts, and business object extensions.
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications for new functionality and information availability that improve end-user productivity or optimize standard procedures.
• Keep all developments compliant with Infor's Multi-Tenant guidelines so they survive continuous upgrades and avoid unnecessary deviation from standard functionality.

2. Reporting, Analytics & Document Development

• Design and build LN reports with LN Report Designer, including company-specific layouts for external documents (sales orders, invoices, purchase orders, packing slips, shipping documents).

3. Infor OS Integration (ION, BODs & APIs)

• Design, configure and maintain integrations through Infor ION, including connection points, document flows, filters, and ION Mapper or ION Scripting transformations.
• Develop and extend BODs, including BOD extensions and custom BODs, for integrations between LN, other Cloud Suite applications and third-party systems.

4. ION Workflow & Process Automation

• Design and implement ION Workflows for approvals including workflow definitions, user/role assignments, escalations, and notifications.
• Configure ION Monitors, Alerts and Activation Policies to notify users of business exceptions and trigger actions in LN.
