Job summary

Northwestern Medicine Information Services is seeking an Application Analyst Associate to support assigned services and systems. The role aligns with NM's ethics and compliance program, ensuring reliable system performance across healthcare operations.

You will monitor production queues, participate in project tasks under IS leadership, and help integrate end-user requests with software functionality while upholding QA standards and delivery methodologies. An on-call rotation is expected.

Qualifications

  • 1-2 years of experience in Core Discipline.

Responsibilities

  • Develops skills necessary to support assigned services and systems; learning integration and interaction of all supported services and systems.
  • Monitors the production issue queue and resolves issues while maintaining SLA.
  • Executes project tasks under IS leadership and performs routine support with assistance.
  • Adheres to quality assurance standards and software delivery methodologies.
  • Contributes to end-user requests integration with software functionality.
  • Contributes to analysis and recommendations for application build and functionality to ensure reliability.
  • Develops diagnostic skills to assist with problem determination across NMHC IS environment.
  • Participation in on-call support to ensure availability and performance of systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Develops skills necessary to support assigned services and systems while learning the integration and interaction of all supported services and systems.
  • Monitors the production issue queue and resolves issues while maintaining our Customer Service Level Agreements.
  • Executes project tasks as assigned under the direction of the IS Manager, Team Lead, or Senior IS Application Analyst, and executes routine support with assistance.
  • Adheres to and enhances quality assurance standards, systems development and delivery methodologies.
  • Contributes to ongoing process to integrate end users requests with software functionality.
  • Contributes to analysis and recommendations relating to application build and functionality of systems to ensure reliability for current and / or future use.
  • Develops diagnostic skills and expertise to assist with problem determination and solution across the assigned NMHC distributed system IS environment.
  • This position requires participation in an on-call support to ensure the availability and performance of our systems.
Qualifications

Experience:

1-2 years of Experience in Core Discipline

Preferred:

  • Bachelor's Degree
