Job summary

Northwestern Medicine is seeking an Application Analyst to support and maintain assigned services. You will work with the IS team to monitor upgrades, resolve production issues, and contribute to documentation and architectural diagrams in a healthcare information systems environment.

The ideal candidate has 2–5 years of experience in an IT core discipline; a Bachelor's degree is preferred. On-site Chicago area with competitive benefits and on-call rotation.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of IT/core discipline experience.

Responsibilities

• Support and maintain assigned services and systems.
• Monitor, analyze and plan upgrades with the team.
• Monitor production issue queue and resolve issues within SLAs.
• Execute project tasks as assigned.
• Adhere to QA standards and development/delivery methodologies.
• Incorporate end-user requests with software functionality.
• Analyze and recommend improvements for reliability and future use.
• Demonstrate diagnostic skills to resolve issues across NMHC IS environment.
• Participate in on-call rotation.
• Maintain application/technical docs and architecture diagrams.

Responsibilities:

• Support and maintain assigned services and systems
• Works with team to monitor, analyze and plan upgrades
• Monitors the production issue queue and resolves issues while maintaining our Customer Service Level Agreements.
• Executes project tasks as assigned
• Adheres to and enhances quality assurance standards, systems development and delivery methodologies.
• Contributes to ongoing process to integrate end users requests with software functionality.
• Analyzes and provides recommendations relating to application build and functionality of systems to ensure reliability for current and / or future use.
• Demonstrates diagnostic skills and expertise to assist with problem determination and solution across the assigned NMHC distributed system IS environment.
• Participates in on call rotation
• Contributes to the maintenance of application/technical documentation and architecture diagrams

Qualifications
