Overview

Job Code / Title: Digital Health Technical Lead

The Digital Health Technical Lead provides advanced technical leadership to support application or infrastructure teams across planning, system analysis, design, development, testing, maintenance, and ongoing support. This role plays a critical part in solution development and technical strategy, with a strong focus on product evolution and optimization.

The position requires a deep understanding of healthcare workflows and customer needs to guide solution recommendations and service implementation.

Responsibilities
  • Provide architectural expertise, technical direction, and industry knowledge to support high-performing teams and tools.
  • Partner with leadership to proactively identify optimization and process improvement opportunities.
  • Lead cross-functional discussions focused on problem identification, resolution options, and collaboration.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders on complex workflows, system upgrades, and enhancements.
  • Communicate complex technical concepts clearly and negotiate consensus when needed.
  • Develop and monitor team goals, delegate tasks, and support performance development.
  • Create long-term technical roadmaps and short-term tactical plans for IT applications and tools.
  • Evaluate, document, and present solution requirements, timelines, risks, and design decisions.
  • Deliver ongoing education and mentorship to develop subject matter experts.
  • Provide input into hiring decisions and performance coaching.
  • Lead assigned projects or components of larger initiatives.
  • Prepare and present executive-level updates on technical designs, risks, and action plans.
  • Perform team technician duties as required.
