Job Description:

This position supports information technology applications through planning, designing, implementing, maintaining, and optimizing systems such as electronic health records, registration, scheduling, billing, labs, radiology, PACS, pharmacy, home care, long-term care, population health, consumer technologies, enterprise resource planning, workforce scheduling, time and attendance, and customer relationship management.

The Staff Analyst provides technical support, configuration, and maintenance throughout the application lifecycle, including selection, implementation, support, archiving, and decommissioning. They may manage small projects and maintain relevant certifications (e.g., Epic).

Essential functions are performed independently with minimal supervision and include:

  1. Supporting stakeholders by analyzing and diagnosing issues.
  2. Translating requirements into design specifications and managing products.
  3. Configuring, testing, installing, implementing, monitoring, and maintaining systems.
  4. Documenting workflows and technical designs to meet business needs.
  5. Partnering with vendors for third-party application support and integration.
  6. Resolving incidents and problems according to service levels and standards.
  7. Managing small to mid-size projects as a project manager.
  8. Collaborating with peers, stakeholders, and vendors.
  9. Following documentation and change management procedures.
  10. Developing training and knowledge materials for users and team members.
  11. Configuring and integrating hardware and software to meet client specifications.
  12. Understanding and developing business reporting needs.
  13. Participating in on-call duties and command center responsibilities, if applicable.
  14. Assisting in testing plans to verify system outputs and integrity.
  15. Attending team, project, and department meetings.
  16. Working with project requestors to complete minimum viable products in ServiceHub.
  17. Requesting resources for projects through the ServiceHub Resource Plan process.

Skills:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel (pivot tables), Visio, Project, PowerPoint, Word.
  • Deep knowledge of business and applications.
  • Understanding of system analysis and operating systems.
  • Skills in needs assessment and documentation of solutions.
  • Problem-solving skills with data collection and analysis.
  • Ability to interpret industry publications, technical procedures, and regulations.
  • Excellent written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's degree in IT, healthcare, business, or related field preferred; relevant experience may substitute upon approval.

Experience: Two years of related work experience or working towards a bachelor's degree with four years of related experience. Certification in Epic applications is required and must be maintained.

Physical Requirements:

Operate computers and IT equipment, requiring manual dexterity.

Visual acuity to read monitors and documents.

Ability to sit or stand for extended periods.

Location: Peaks Regional Office, Broomfield, Colorado

Work Hours: 40 hours per week, hourly rate $31.78 - $50.07 depending on experience.
