Expected pay for this position is $34.57 - $40.66/hour. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity. This is a salaried position.

Position Summary

The Application Administrator II supports and mentors the medium to complex integration of OSF HealthCare System applications through development, implementation, monitoring, troubleshooting, maintenance, and decommissioning functions. The Application Administrator II must understand medium to complex, mission‑critical processes to provide technical expertise for the effective use of approved applications. This role is service oriented ensuring consistent availability of approved applications to our mission partners as a service within a team environment. Occasional travel could be required.

Qualities / Responsibilities

• Top candidates will show Administrator and/or Developer experience in ServiceNow.

Required Qualifications

• Associate's Degree with 1 year experience in information technology OR High School Diploma and 3 years' experience in information technology or healthcare.
• Business knowledge in Microsoft, Platform Virtualization, CompTIA, Citrix, or Epic Client systems or similar platforms used in Healthcare Technology Information systems delivery.

Licensure / Certifications

• Active certifications in area of discipline (minimum of 1) such as Microsoft (MCSE, MCSA, or similar); VMWare (VCA, VCP, VCAP, or VCDX), CompTIA (A+, Network+, or Cloud Essentials, or similar), EPIC Client System Administrator, Citrix Certified Administrator, or certification within your area of discipline as approved by application Manager/Director.
• 1 certification in area of discipline within 18 months of hire. Certification could be obtained through internally provided training. Certifications must be maintained.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or other closely related field to understand information technology principles.
• 4 years HealthCare Information Technology experience.
• Experience with key OSF application systems.
• Experience with application implementation and support.
• Experience leading others.

Other Skills / Knowledge

• HL7 interface, x-12 EDI, or other data exchange knowledge as appropriate.
• Knowledge of network, server, database and messaging technologies as it applies to application support.
