Best Buy is seeking a Retail Sales Specialist in the appliances department in Onalaska, Wisconsin. You will engage customers, perform product demos, and provide expert recommendations while learning kitchen and laundry appliances.

You’ll support transactions, meet sales goals, and stay updated on technology trends. Training is provided to become proficient in appliance specifications and benefits, with opportunities to mentor other staff.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience building complex solutions in sales, customer service or related fields
• 1 year of experience selling in premium products, luxury brands and/or custom design environments
• 1 year of experience in customer relationship management (CRM)

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers in the appliances department to support the customer experience, complete transactions, drive profitable growth and achieve sales goals
• Stay informed about the latest technology trends and products through continuous learning and professional development
• Handle customer inquiries, complains and returns professionally, ensuring a positive shopping experience
• Prioritize activities based on urgency and importance, set realistic deadlines and use tools and techniques to manage time effectively
• Maintain department merchandising and readiness to serve customers
• Train other sales floor personnel on how to be successful in the department
