Job Description:
Are you a persuasive communicator with a passion for sales? Join our team as anAppliance Warranty Sales Representativeand become the driving force behind our customer interactions. In this role, you'll be the first point of contact for customers who have purchased appliances, using your sales expertise to upsell extended warranties and maximize revenue. Working with our partner, Domestic and General, you will help customers look after what they rely on daily to keep their homes running. Domestic and General protects, repairs and cares for millions of products and appliances each year, protecting appliances at the heart of every home.
Key Responsibilities:
Answer Incoming Calls:Respond promptly to customer inquiries about their appliance purchases.
Upsell Extended Warranties:Employ effective sales techniques to promote and sell extended warranty plans, seizing every cross-selling opportunity.
Sales Targets:Consistently meet and exceed sales targets by upselling extended warranties.
Customer Service:Deliver exceptional customer service, addressing customers' concerns or questions.
Documentation:Accurately record customer interactions and sales in the system.

Compensation: United States:$15.00 USD per hour + uncapped cross-sell bonus.
Canada:$16.50 CAD per hour ($17.40 CAD in BC) + uncapped cross-sell bonus.
Location:Fully remote, allowing you to work from the comfort of your home.
Training:Comprehensive paid training to equip you with the necessary skills and knowledge.
Hours:Full-time position with open availability required during business operating hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am – 8:00 pm, and Saturday, 9:00 am - 6:30 pm EST.

Requirements:
Experience:Minimum 6 months of experience in a sales role, along with customer service experience.
Call Center Experience:Previous experience in a call center environment is preferred.
Technical Competence:Ability to navigate and use computer systems efficiently.
Residency:Must reside in Canada or the United States.
Technical Requirements:
This is a bring-your-own-device role. Applicants who use their PC for work must acknowledge that they owned their PC prior to applying for employment and they did not purchase the PC to become employed at SP Data Digital.
Operating System:Windows 11 (Apple devices and Chromebooks are not compatible).
Hardware:Minimum 8 GB RAM and Intel I3 processor.
Internet:Reliable internet connection with minimum speeds of 30 Mbps download / 8 Mbps upload.
Connectivity:Ability to work with an Ethernet cable connected to the modem.
Equipment:Webcam and USB headset required for communication and training.
