Job summary

Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood is seeking a qualified facilities technician to perform preventive maintenance on kitchen equipment and refrigeration systems. Under the direction of the Facilities Shift Supervisor, you will conduct inspections, repair and troubleshoot walk-in coolers, freezers, ice machines, dishwashers, ovens and related equipment, and maintain logs.

• Complete walk-through inspections and routine maintenance of walk-in coolers, freezers, reach-ins, ice machines and dishwashers.
• Change water filters and repair minor air and water leaks; read technical manuals and maintain logs.

Will change water filters and repair minor air and water leaks.Maintains quality of air, air flow and temperature at on and off-site facilities; adjusts valves to regulate temperature of lubrication oil and flow of water through system.Is capable of using Freon gauges and can safely recharge or evacuate Freon from equipment. Records gauge readings, repairs completed and time lost due to inoperative equipment.Can work on high voltage equipment and understands lock-out/tag-out procedures.Can troubleshoot and repair refrigerated HVAC package units.Is organized and detail oriented with the ability to order parts, maintain inventory levels and read technical manuals.Knowledge of Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino’s policies, procedures and schedules to insure minimal interruption to business operations and to prioritize projects appropriately.Promotes positive public/employee relations at all times.Maintains a clean, safe, hazard-free work environment within area of responsibility.Performs all other related and compatible/non-compatible duties as assigned.Qualifications:High school diploma or technical certificate as well as a minimum of three (3) of experience with commercial/industrial refrigeration equipment or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
