Pride Air Conditioning & Plumbing is seeking a dedicated Appliance Repair Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain a variety of household appliances in South Florida. This full-time, in-person role reports to the Appliance Supervisor and includes an on-call rotation.

You will troubleshoot washers, dryers, refrigerators, dishwashers, and microwaves, perform basic electrical tasks, and keep accurate service records while upholding safety standards and delivering reliable customer service.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience diagnosing and repairing appliances.
• Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record.
• Clean background and drug-free.
• Ability to lift 80 pounds.
• Fluency in English; bilingual is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair a wide range of household appliances (washers, dryers, refrigerators, dishwashers, microwaves).
• Perform basic electrical work, including replacing switches, outlets, breakers, and ballasts.
• Maintain accurate service records, work orders, and inventory usage.
• Follow safety protocols and comply with company and industry standards.
• Provide customers with maintenance tips to help extend the life of their appliances.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Participate in ongoing training to stay current with appliance technology and repair techniques.

Position Overview

We are looking for a dedicated Appliance Repair Technician with strong communication skills and a positive attitude to join our team. This hourly position reports directly to the Appliance Supervisor and plays a critical role in ensuring smooth daily operations. This role is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of household appliances, while also performing minor electrical tasks. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and committed to delivering reliable, high-quality service.
