Appliance Service Technician - Peoria, IL

Starting Wage: $26/hour

Schedule: 5-Day WorkWeek, Monday - Friday

Hours: 7:30am - until route is done (end time varies)

We are looking for an Appliance Service Technician to join our growing team!

Sherman's Appliance Service Technicians diagnose and repair home appliances in customers' homes. You will help us create customers for life by solving issues quickly and without hassle. It’s your job to WOW customers with your expertise and helpfulness.

• Starting your morning at our shop reviewing your route, grabbing parts, and meeting with the team to talk through challenging repairs, share ideas, and learn from each other.
• Driving a company-provided sprinter van to customers' homes throughout the day.
• Diagnosing and repairing appliances in the field while helping frustrated customers feel heard, informed, and taken care of.
• Working independently in the field while staying connected to a close-knit, team-oriented department that supports each other constantly.
• Calling teammates for help, troubleshooting tough problems together, and sharing knowledge openly.
• Being coached, challenged, and expected to keep learning as appliance technology continues to evolve.
• Having those moments where an appliance problem makes absolutely no sense ... until suddenly everything clicks and you figure it out by using your resources and your stick-to-itiveness.
