Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Appliance Service Technician located in Wyoming, MI. The Appliance Service Technician will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of home and commercial appliances. Daily tasks include troubleshooting issues, ordering and installing necessary parts, performing regular maintenance, and ensuring customer satisfaction. The technician will also provide detailed service reports and communicate effectively with customers and team members.
Qualifications
- Expertise in diagnosing and repairing home and commercial appliances preferred but willing to train the right applicant.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and maintaining various appliance systems preferred but willing to train the right applicant.
- Experience in ordering and installing replacement parts preferred but willing to train the right applicant.
- Strong customer service skills and ability to communicate effectively with clients.
- Attention to detail and ability to generate detailed service reports.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience in the appliance repair industry is a plus.
- Technical certification or relevant trade school training is beneficial.
- Must be able to pass a background check.
