Bekins in Grand Rapids, MI is seeking a Sales Professional to join our showroom team. You will help customers pick appliances, build relationships in-person and via phone/email, and create memorable shopping experiences.

Qualifications

• Must be knowledgeable, well-spoken, and honest.
• Able to communicate clearly in verbal and written form.
• Prioritization and managing steps in large sales.
• Accurate, detailed, and organized.
• Confident with a sense of urgency for customers and team.
• Passion for appliance sales.
• No prior experience required.

Responsibilities

• Complete a 4 – 6-month, self-driven training course.
• Learn and be proficient on our company’s point of sales computer system.
• Educate customers on available appliance options.
• Build and manage relationships with present and potential customers through networking.
• Learn and follow company policies and procedures.
• Continually build memorable shopping and buying experiences for our customers.
• Under promise and over deliver.
• Build customer relationships.
• Learn product lines for sales and comparison purposes.
